About this role
Wyetech seeks a System Engineer 2 to drive systems engineering for federal government contracts, translating user requirements and operational concepts into comprehensive system architectures and design documentation. You'll lead technical design activities, guide stakeholder requirements development, and ensure the technical integrity of deliverables while collaborating with government partners and internal teams.
What you'll do
- Analyze user requirements, concepts of operations, and system architectures to develop detailed system requirements specifications
- Lead system design and development activities while providing technical guidance on feasibility and alternative approaches
- Develop and maintain system architecture, design, and technical documentation
- Prepare system engineering management plans, integration strategies, and test plans
- Interact with government stakeholders to address systems engineering technical issues, conflicts, and concerns
- Oversee technical integrity of all systems engineering work and ensure alignment across program teams
