System Engineer 3
About this role
Wyetech seeks a System Engineer 3 to apply systems engineering principles across all lifecycle phases for federal government contracts. You'll manage technical integrity, quality, and deliverables while interfacing with government stakeholders, program teams, and executives on complex systems projects.
What you'll do
- Guide systems engineering throughout concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement phases
- Ensure technical integrity and completeness of work across 25 ISO/IEC 15288 process areas
- Liaise with government customers on technical considerations, issues, and conflict resolution
- Manage requirements definition, architectural design, integration, verification, and validation activities
- Oversee project planning, risk management, configuration management, and quality assurance
- Communicate technical status and decisions to program personnel, government overseers, and senior leadership
