Energy & Infrastructure Counsel
About this role
SpaceXAI seeks an Energy & Infrastructure Counsel to lead complex legal negotiations for hyperscale data center infrastructure projects, including power agreements, real estate transactions, and construction contracts. You'll work in a fast-paced environment balancing legal, business, and engineering priorities across multiple office locations.
What you'll do
- Negotiate and structure development deals, real estate transactions, capital equipment purchases, and procurement agreements
- Handle power-related contracts including interconnection agreements, PPAs, solar deployments, and ERCOT regulatory matters
- Draft and review construction contracts, engineering services agreements, and project documents for advanced facilities
- Support financing structures, tax incentives, complex leases, permitting, and multi-billion-dollar infrastructure investments
- Partner with engineering, security, procurement, business development, and finance teams to align legal terms with requirements
- Coordinate with outside counsel while maintaining strategic oversight and risk management
