Software Engineer, ML Platform (ML Training)
About this role
Join Zoox's ML Platform team to build and maintain the infrastructure, deep learning frameworks, and inference libraries that power autonomous driving and other ML applications. You'll work across multiple ML disciplines to accelerate the journey from research to production for cutting-edge AI innovations.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain ML training and inference infrastructure used across Zoox's ML teams
- Develop deep learning frameworks and libraries optimized for both in-vehicle and off-vehicle use cases
- Collaborate with Perception, Prediction, Planner, Simulation, and other ML teams to understand and support their needs
- Reduce time-to-production for AI innovations by streamlining the research-to-deployment pipeline
- Work with Advanced Hardware Engineering to optimize ML workloads for custom hardware
- Operate and scale ML tools as Zoox expands robotaxi deployments
