Integration Engineer
About this role
9 Mothers seeks an Integration Engineer to design and maintain connections between our AI-powered counter-drone platform and external Command & Control systems, military protocols, and enterprise ecosystems. You'll own the full integration lifecycle from requirements gathering through field deployment, working across APIs, messaging standards, and third-party platforms in a fast-paced defense environment.
What you'll do

- Implement military and industry-standard protocols (Cursor-on-Target, Link 16, TAK/ATAK, VMF) and ensure interoperability compliance
- Gather integration requirements from customers and partners; define interface control documents and translate operational needs into specifications
- Build and execute integration test plans including simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing before field deployment
- Support customer demonstrations, pilots, and field deployments with troubleshooting across the full technical stack
What they're looking for
- Systems integration and enterprise integration patterns
- REST, SOAP, and pub/sub messaging APIs
