About this role
Aaru seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to design and optimize the systems powering large-scale AI simulations. You'll work across compute, networking, and data pipelines to eliminate bottlenecks and enable the company's core engineering and research workflows to operate faster and at greater scale.
What you'll do
- Design low-latency, high-throughput infrastructure for large-scale simulations
- Improve reliability and performance of data ingestion and computation pipelines
- Identify and eliminate system bottlenecks across compute, networking, storage, and orchestration
- Build developer tools and abstractions to accelerate engineering and research teams
- Transition experimental research workflows into production-ready infrastructure
- Own infrastructure decisions from architecture through implementation and operation

- Distributed systems debugging and performance optimization
- Cloud infrastructure and compute primitives
- Networking protocols (HTTP, TLS, TCP)
- Data pipeline design and optimization
- Strongly typed or algebraic type system languages
- Long-running computational workflow management
- Developer experience and internal tooling design
- High-scale data or ML infrastructure design
