About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, and develop applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted development and modern enterprise service management. The role focuses on leveraging AI tools, building intelligent automation solutions, and integrating external AI/ML APIs while supporting federal government clients.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and configure custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, UI components, and platform features
- Build and modify Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Flow Designer flows, and related components
- Leverage AI tools and LLMs (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate development and troubleshoot platform issues
- Configure ServiceNow Now Assist features, Virtual Agent conversations, AI Search, and integrate external AI/ML APIs via Integration Hub
- Design prompt engineering strategies within Now Assist and Virtual Agent frameworks for accurate AI responses
- Build REST/SOAP integrations, write unit tests using ServiceNow ATF, and support defect resolution and operational needs
