Release Train Engineer
About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced Release Train Engineer to support national security initiatives in Northern VA. This role involves facilitating Agile program planning, managing requirements and roadmaps, and driving cloud modernization and RDT&E efforts across diverse federal stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Facilitate Agile Program Increment (PI) planning sessions to drive alignment and continuous delivery of mission-critical capabilities
- Gather, refine, and prioritize requirements from stakeholders aligned with platform and customer objectives
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for RDT&E, cloud modernization, and capability deployment initiatives
- Manage deliverables including PI planning artifacts, requirements traceability matrices, risk registers, and roadmaps
- Establish and maintain Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts) and ensure teams follow best practices
- Advise leadership on Agile transformation strategy using Jira and Confluence for visibility and transparency
