About this role
Akuna Capital seeks a C++ Software Engineer Intern for a 10-week summer program building high-performance trading systems. You'll work on multithreaded, distributed systems alongside small teams interfacing with quantitative and trading professionals, progressing from design through delivery on real projects.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain high-performance C++ systems for core trading operations
- Work on multithreaded and asynchronous distributed systems
- Progress projects from design and ideation through delivery and maintenance
- Add functionality to existing systems or implement new components
- Collaborate with Quant and Trading teams on domain-specific problems
- Experiment with new technologies and patterns to explore solution approaches
