About this role
Join SpaceX's Starlink flight software team to develop and maintain highly reliable autonomous software for satellite systems and ground infrastructure. You'll own the complete lifecycle of mission-critical code that controls spacecraft and operates the world's largest satellite constellation, working across both space-based and Earth-based systems.
What you'll do
- Develop autonomous flight software with comprehensive testing for reliability, fault tolerance, and correctness
- Design software for both orbital vehicles and ground support systems
- Build prototypes and analyze system metrics to validate design concepts and technical constraints
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to translate mission requirements into robust code
