About this role
Join Akuna Capital's UI team as a Full Stack Web Software Engineer Intern for a 10-week summer program building real-time trading applications. You'll own a project from design through testing, collaborating with traders and engineers to create web applications used by market-makers in fast-paced financial markets.
What you'll do
- Design and develop web applications using React, TypeScript, and Python in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance user experience and development efficiency
- Own a full project from conception through presentation at program completion
- Work directly with traders and quantitative engineers on real-time trading systems
- Maintain and improve applications critical to market-making operations
