About this role
Allegiant Air seeks a Fleet Reliability Engineer to ensure airworthiness and safety across its aircraft fleet by analyzing maintenance and operational data, managing FAA compliance programs, and driving continuous reliability improvements. The role combines technical expertise with data analytics to identify trends, support engineering decisions, and collaborate with OEM partners.
What you'll do
- Ensure compliance with FAA Reliability Program Manual (RPM) and D074 requirements through audits and documentation
- Perform root cause analysis on operational and maintenance data to optimize scheduled maintenance and identify performance gaps
- Monitor and classify incoming data from PIREPs, delays, cancellations, and component removals to detect chronic issues
- Create data visualizations and executive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to communicate reliability trends to leadership
- Partner with OEMs (Airbus, Boeing) to evaluate technical documentation and escalate fleet-impacting issues
- Deliver technical recommendations for modifications, service bulletins, and proactive maintenance strategies
