About this role

Anduril Industries is hiring Manufacturing Optimization Engineer Interns for a 12-week paid summer 2027 internship in Ashville, Ohio. You'll support aerospace teams designing and manufacturing carbon fiber composite structures, conducting trade studies, implementing solutions, and testing their effectiveness.

What you'll do

  • Conduct independent trade studies and design solutions for manufacturing optimization problems
  • Procure hardware and materials needed to implement approved solutions
  • Test, verify, and demonstrate the effectiveness of developed solutions
  • Work with design engineers and manufacturing technicians on composite aerospace structures
  • Execute projects from problem statement through completion with defined milestones
  • Collect and analyze data to drive manufacturing improvements
