About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the technical development of maritime autonomous systems from concept through delivery. What you'll do

  • Lead design, prototyping, capability verification, and delivery of maritime autonomous weapon systems
  • Develop system architecture, define requirements, and conduct trade analyses to optimize design parameters, schedule, costs, and risk
  • Perform systems engineering to explore and iterate conceptual designs with technical subject matter experts
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to embed design-for-manufacturing early and enable scalable production
  • Oversee technical execution and define key capabilities, milestones, and demonstrations for autonomous system maturation
  • Work with senior leadership to ensure adequate resource planning for program scope
