About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an Electrical Hardware Engineer to design and develop advanced electronics for airborne electro-optical/infrared imaging systems. You'll work on sensor electronics, aircraft interfaces, and power management while collaborating across teams to integrate cutting-edge defense technology.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and test electronics for airborne EO/IR systems including sensor interfaces and power management
  • Support systems engineering in defining requirements based on physics-based sensor performance models
  • Assist in PCB layout design and development with the electrical engineering team
  • Conduct system testing at laboratory, ground, and flight test levels with detailed data analysis
  • Troubleshoot and test electronic components and subsystems for optimal performance
  • Document test results and system designs while supporting integration efforts

  • System-level design and troubleshooting
  • MATLAB, Python, or C++ (preferred)
  • EO/IR or sensor systems experience (preferred)

  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
