About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Electrical Hardware Engineer to design and develop advanced electronics for airborne electro-optical/infrared imaging systems. You'll work on sensor electronics, aircraft interfaces, and power management while collaborating across teams to integrate cutting-edge defense technology.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and test electronics for airborne EO/IR systems including sensor interfaces and power management
- Support systems engineering in defining requirements based on physics-based sensor performance models
- Assist in PCB layout design and development with the electrical engineering team
- Conduct system testing at laboratory, ground, and flight test levels with detailed data analysis
- Troubleshoot and test electronic components and subsystems for optimal performance
- Document test results and system designs while supporting integration efforts

- Laboratory testing and experimentation setup
- System-level design and troubleshooting
- MATLAB, Python, or C++ (preferred)
- EO/IR or sensor systems experience (preferred)
- Aerospace or defense system integration knowledge (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
