About this role

Anduril Industries is hiring an Environmental Test Engineer to develop and execute climatic and environmental testing on defense technology products. You'll design test procedures per MIL-STD-810 and DO-160, operate specialized test equipment, analyze data, and partner with program teams to deliver engineering evidence supporting product qualification.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute environmental test procedures for thermal, dynamic, climatic, corrosion, and ingress testing per MIL-STD-810 and DO-160 standards
  • Tailor test methods by selecting appropriate levels, durations, and success criteria based on operational environment and product requirements
  • Design instrumentation and data acquisition approaches including sensor selection, channel configuration, and measurement uncertainty analysis
  • Program and operate test controllers (WATLOW F4s/F4Ts) and vibration control software (VibrationVIEW, ObserVIEW)
  • Set up and operate electrodynamic shaker systems for sine, random, SRS, and mixed-mode vibration testing
  • Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and produce engineering reports supporting qualification decisions
