About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Flight Test Engineer to design and execute comprehensive test plans for mission autonomy systems on the Fury Group 5 UAS. You'll analyze flight data, collaborate across engineering teams, and drive rapid iteration of autonomous algorithms in complex operational scenarios.
What you'll do
- Design and implement test plans to verify autonomous system capabilities across varied mission profiles
- Analyze flight test data to validate performance and identify improvements for autonomy algorithms
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and product teams to define test requirements and ensure alignment
- Execute and analyze simulations replicating real-world scenarios to accelerate development cycles
- Coordinate with private and government test ranges to conduct system evaluations
- Deliver end-to-end test management including requirements definition, execution, analysis, and reporting
