About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to own and optimize the manufacturing value chain for defense hardware systems, including static equipment, ground vehicles, and flight platforms. You'll lead design-for-manufacturability efforts, develop tooling solutions, create process documentation, and collaborate with internal teams and contract manufacturers to scale production rapidly.

What you'll do

  • Own manufacturing value chain for assigned products, from design through production
  • Design novel tooling and develop process flows for fabrication and assembly of complex hardware
  • Create manufacturing documentation including work instructions, quality plans, and inspection procedures
  • Partner with contract manufacturers (PCBA, metallic, assembly) to establish repeatable processes
  • Conduct hands-on prototype building with technicians and contribute to mechanical/electrical design
  • Travel to supplier sites for sourcing, troubleshooting, and quality procedure implementation
