About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Mission Software Engineer to join the Imaging Interfaces team, responsible for building and maintaining deployed camera and sensor systems across the full stack. You'll balance new feature development with production support, fielded system troubleshooting, and direct customer integration work in a fast-paced defense technology environment.

What you'll do

  • Own the health and uptime of deployed imaging systems, triaging and resolving issues across hardware, firmware, networking, and software
  • Develop and maintain modular production services running on edge-compute devices in austere environments
  • Provide direct technical support to field operators and non-technical users for deployed hardware diagnostics
  • Serve as subject matter expert in cross-team integrations with other products and external customers
  • Build and maintain end-to-end system understanding across hardware, firmware, networking, and software layers
  • Travel approximately 15% for field testing, customer integrations, and on-site support
