About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Product Quality Engineer to establish and execute quality processes for autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) integration at a new Rhode Island facility. You'll drive compliance with defense standards like AS9100, lead non-conformance and root cause analysis activities, and partner across engineering, manufacturing, and field operations to deliver high-reliability systems.
What you'll do
- Partner with manufacturing, production, and development teams to ensure quality during AUV component and subsystem integration
- Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with defense and customer quality standards
- Lead non-conformance review (NCR) and root cause corrective action (RCCA) processes for vehicle assembly defects
- Define and develop inspection systems and test measurement requirements with engineering teams
- Support incoming inspection processes, quality documentation, and effectiveness metrics
- Own Material Review Board (MRB) activities and containment strategies for prototype and production builds
