About this role
Join Anduril's Maritime Digital Production team as a Data Engineer to build high-performance scheduling and optimization systems for intelligent manufacturing. You'll develop constraint solvers and graph algorithms that replan production schedules in under 10 minutes, integrating data from PLM, ERP, MES, and CAD systems to power factory operations.
What you'll do
- Build high-performance data processing systems that optimize and replan production schedules using constraint solvers and numerical optimization techniques
- Design data access layers for computational geometry operations to extract features and manufacturing sequences from CAD models
- Develop graph algorithms modeling manufacturing dependencies, resource constraints, and optimization objectives across assembly operations
- Partner with manufacturing engineers and operators to translate production workflows into software requirements
- Integrate data from PLM, ERP, MES, and CAD/CAM systems into a unified foundation for scheduling algorithms
- Deploy systems in factory environments including edge compute clusters and OT networks, with on-call production support
