About this role

Anduril Industries seeks Software Engineers to develop flight software, ground station software, and control systems for advanced spacecraft and space systems. You'll work across embedded systems, RF communication, machine learning, and computer vision in a fast-paced defense technology environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement flight software, ground test software, and ground station applications at embedded and application levels
  • Develop deeply embedded software including data protocols, RF communication, and control algorithms for computationally-restricted environments
  • Create host-side software for user interfaces, equipment interfaces, data analysis, and command & control integration
  • Apply space-flight software design standards including fault detection, error checking, and data redundancy for high-reliability systems
  • Work at the intersection of hardware, FPGA, and software to enable on-orbit debugging and safe upgrades
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on rapid prototyping, design verification, and space qualification activities
