About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Technical Operations Engineer to lead field operations for the Anvil aerial drone system, bridging product engineering and deployed operations in remote, austere environments. You'll serve as the subject matter expert for all Anvil deployments, demos, and customer support while traveling up to 80% to support military aviation missions and resolve complex hardware-software-networking issues in the field.
What you'll do
- Act as primary subject matter expert and point of contact for Anvil field events, demos, and customer deployments
- Execute flight operations, field maintenance, and customer training in austere and hazardous locations
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues in unstructured field environments
- Conduct root-cause analyses on air system incidents and implement preventive measures
- Advise internal and customer teams on operational employment, best practices, and logistical planning for system updates
- Maintain documentation and communicate field issue status to stakeholders
