About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a hands-on Technical Security Application Engineer to install, configure, and maintain physical access control and video surveillance systems across manufacturing sites. This role combines hardware deployment with application-level administration, vendor coordination, and technical troubleshooting in a defense technology environment.
What you'll do
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control hardware (readers, controllers, door systems) and video surveillance equipment across sites
- Perform application-level administration of access control and video management systems, particularly Genetec Security Center
- Diagnose and resolve system, hardware, and network issues; escalate complex problems appropriately
- Support system deployments, commissioning, and upgrades; coordinate with vendors and integrators
- Manage small-to-medium technical security projects including scheduling, task tracking, and stakeholder reporting
- Configure networking components (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE) and maintain technical documentation and inventory
