Design Engineer

About this role

Antimetal seeks a Design Engineer to bridge design and frontend development, transforming concepts into polished production interfaces for an infrastructure management platform. You'll own the design system, craft pixel-perfect UIs with React and Tailwind, and define new interaction patterns for AI-driven tools while working in-person at their NYC headquarters.

What you'll do

• Own and maintain the design system across Figma and React/Tailwind code
• Build pixel-perfect, production-ready interfaces with strong CSS implementation
• Translate sketches and concepts into fully realized features in collaboration with design and engineering teams
• Design and implement new interaction patterns for AI-driven infrastructure tools
• Establish frontend architecture standards and best practices
• Rapidly prototype ideas using Figma, code, and AI tools to validate concepts
