Platform Engineer

About this role

Antimetal is hiring a Platform Engineer to build and maintain the foundational infrastructure powering their AI-driven infrastructure management platform. You'll own critical systems spanning development acceleration, service infrastructure, data pipelines, and agent connectivity—directly multiplying engineering velocity across the company.

What you'll do

• Architect and optimize development infrastructure including CI/CD, deploy pipelines, and internal tooling to maximize engineering productivity
• Design and operate Kubernetes-based service architecture with observability, deployment automation, and reliability standards
• Own data schema, storage, and access patterns for investigation traces, agent trajectories, and customer telemetry
• Build and maintain the MCP gateway, OAuth/credential management, and integration catalog for agent connectivity
• Set production-readiness standards and shared platform abstractions that enable product teams to ship reliably
• Partner with product, frontend, and research teams to translate requirements into scalable platform solutions

What they're looking for

• 3+ years platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering experience
• Service-oriented architecture and distributed systems design
• TypeScript proficiency with production Kubernetes operations
• Data modeling and code design for scalability and extensibility
• API gateways, OAuth, and multi-tenant integration platforms
• Modern observability tools (OTEL, Datadog) and SRE practices
• Product-focused approach to platform work with user adoption mindset
• Comfortable using AI tools like Claude Code in engineering workflow
