System Verification Engineer

About this role

Apex is seeking a System Verification Engineer in Los Angeles to oversee testing and validation of satellite bus platforms from design through flight readiness. You'll bridge engineering, testing, and production to ensure spacecraft meet requirements and perform reliably in orbit, working collaboratively across multiple teams.

What you'll do

• Oversee component and system-level functional and performance testing
• Develop and approve test procedures with clearly defined success criteria and KPI coverage
• Analyze test data, investigate anomalies, and drive resolution efforts
• Identify and implement test improvements, automation opportunities, and equipment upgrades
• Maintain verification artifacts, test reports, and compliance documentation
• Support qualification, acceptance, and flight readiness reviews; communicate status to stakeholders and customers
