About this role
Apex Companies is hiring a Field Engineer in the New England region to serve as the on-site representative ensuring infrastructure projects are built according to design specifications. You'll coordinate with project managers, contractors, and engineers while maintaining detailed documentation, conducting quality inspections, and resolving field issues across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
What you'll do
- Verify construction compliance with design plans and specifications as site representative
- Maintain detailed field notes, measurements, and record documentation
- Coordinate daily construction activities with project managers, engineers, and contractors
- Monitor project progress, track quantities, and provide regular field and weekly reports
- Prepare record drawings and as-built documentation using AutoCAD
- Conduct quality control inspections and resolve field issues or design discrepancies
