About this role
Applied Intuition seeks an MLOps Software Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines for training perception models that run on edge devices and cloud infrastructure. You'll work on scaling the Axion Data Engine, integrating foundation models for automated labeling, and collaborating with defense customers to enhance model deployment cycles.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize data pipelines for running ML models across edge and cloud environments
- Scale data engine architecture to improve labeling efficiency and reduce annotation costs
- Integrate foundation models (LLMs, VLMs) to automate labeling and quality assurance
- Implement software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing frameworks
- Support DoD customers by understanding requirements and addressing field deployment challenges
- Evolve MLOps tooling for pipeline visibility and stakeholder insights
