Validation Engineer

About this role

Applied Intuition seeks a Validation Engineer to test and validate automotive systems using hardware-in-the-loop benches, lab vehicles, and prototype testing. You'll design test cases, perform system integration testing, automate tests with Python, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

What you'll do

• Design and execute test cases using HIL test benches, lab cars, and manual vehicle testing
• Perform system and integration testing on automotive subsystems including infotainment, cameras, sensors, and networking
• Set up and maintain HIL test environments for validation and performance testing
• Analyze test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and debug issues with engineering teams
• Develop Python-based test automation scripts to improve coverage and efficiency
• Document test procedures, results, and communicate findings with OEM partners

• Automotive network protocols (CAN, Ethernet, LIN preferred)
• Vector CANoe or dSPACE ControlDesk experience preferred
• Embedded systems testing
