About this role
Astranis seeks an Assembly, Integration, and Test Associate Engineer to join its satellite manufacturing team for a 12-week salaried position. You'll collaborate across engineering disciplines to design test procedures, operate specialized equipment, and support the assembly and integration of satellite hardware destined for orbit.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, RF, and propulsion teams to develop assembly and integration test plans
- Operate test equipment including thermal chambers, vibration tables, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition systems
- Execute test procedures and coordinate environmental testing efforts for satellite components
- Support hands-on design and development of satellite hardware
- Document test results and communicate findings across engineering teams
