About this role
A-TEK is hiring an Audio/Visual Engineer II to design, install, and support professional AV systems for federal government facilities in the Bethesda/Rockville, MD area. The role involves configuring video conferencing platforms, integrating AV technologies, and troubleshooting complex systems in a hybrid work environment. Public trust clearance eligibility is required.
What you'll do
- Design and deploy AV systems for conference rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, and event spaces
- Install and configure displays, projectors, LED walls, speakers, microphones, DSPs, cameras, and control systems
- Set up and configure video conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Cisco Webex
- Test and commission AV systems to ensure proper functionality and performance
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for AV infrastructure
- Collaborate on system integration projects leveraging networking and AV technologies
