About this role
Join an early-stage AI startup transforming building design by automating BIM model generation and construction documentation from 2D blueprints. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll blend deep design expertise with AI collaboration to validate, improve, and scale intelligent building workflows across commercial and infrastructure projects.
What you'll do
- Design buildings and systems within your primary discipline from concept through detailed design
- Develop, coordinate, and manage multidisciplinary BIM models (Architecture, Structural, MEP)
- Apply engineering judgment to evaluate and improve AI-generated designs for code compliance and constructability
- Collaborate with AI researchers and software engineers to translate domain expertise into scalable systems
- Deliver high-quality project work across diverse commercial and infrastructure portfolios
- Support client engagements and communicate technical recommendations on platform capabilities
