CNC Machinist / Programmer
About this role
Axis Automation seeks an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to program and operate Haas vertical milling machines while managing multiple projects for factory automation systems. The role requires proficiency in MasterCam and independent execution of machining tasks with quality oversight.
What you'll do
- Program and operate multiple Haas CNC vertical milling machines simultaneously
- Create 2D and 3D CNC programs using MasterCam or equivalent software
- Execute machining projects while coordinating with the Machining Manager on schedules and labor needs
- Perform internal quality checks and ensure compliance with customer specifications before shipment
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain safety standards and shop housekeeping practices
