About this role
Axon seeks a Mission Engineer to embed onsite with a strategic law enforcement agency in Pasco County, Florida, owning the full lifecycle of customer outcomes using Axon's platform. You'll build and deploy AI workflows, integrations, and operational solutions directly with agency stakeholders, iterating until adoption sticks in production.
What you'll do
- Design and ship working AI agents, workflows, automations, and integrations on Axon's platform for law enforcement agencies
- Conduct onsite discovery to translate agency operational problems into buildable, compliant solutions tied to mission outcomes
- Drive hands-on adoption with end users, measuring impact through usage metrics and workflow improvements until solutions stick
- Assess workflows, identify friction points, and lead operational transformation conversations with agency leadership and command staff
- Troubleshoot integrations and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services teams
- Maintain 3–4 days/week onsite presence, building trusted relationships and capturing field intelligence to inform product roadmap decisions
