About this role
Lead the audio design and optimization of Blackstar devices, overseeing everything from speaker and microphone selection to enclosure tuning and production validation. You'll collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver exceptional acoustic performance from prototype through manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Design and tune audio paths for speakers, microphones, and acoustic enclosures
- Characterize and optimize acoustic performance using measurement, modeling, and listening tests
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and embedded engineering teams on component integration
- Validate acoustic performance from prototype through volume production with manufacturing partners
- Work across Shenzhen and San Francisco locations as needed
