Machine Learning/Deep Learning Engineer(PhD, New Grad)

About this role

Bot Auto seeks a PhD-level machine learning engineer to develop and optimize deep learning models for autonomous truck technology. You'll work across the full ML lifecycle—from data preparation to production deployment—collaborating with cross-functional teams on perception, planning, and control systems.

What you'll do

• Develop, train, and optimize deep learning models for autonomous driving including object detection, tracking, mapping, and end-to-end planning
• Execute complete ML workflows from data curation and analysis through experimentation, hyperparameter tuning, and performance validation
• Collaborate with simulation, infrastructure, and planning/control teams to integrate ML components into production systems
• Research and benchmark state-of-the-art methods from computer vision and generative AI literature to address real-world edge cases
• Participate in model deployment and inference optimization for autonomous vehicle pipelines
