About this role

BusPatrol seeks a DevOps Engineer in Austin to design and maintain cloud infrastructure, build secure CI/CD pipelines, and establish platform standards that enable reliable, safe software delivery. You'll modernize engineering workflows, strengthen observability, and support AI-enabled development practices while ensuring security and compliance.

What you'll do

  • Design and provision AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code, building reusable modules and platform standards
  • Build and harden CI/CD pipelines with security scanning, dependency checks, and policy enforcement
  • Define and improve the engineering paved road for consistent service delivery, environment standards, and platform guardrails
  • Strengthen observability by standardizing logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerts, and operational runbooks
  • Support secure AI-enabled software delivery by operationalizing spec-driven workflows and controlled release practices
  • Partner with engineering teams on reliability, performance, recovery, and production readiness
