QA Engineer (Manual) – Junior / Middle
About this role
Join a fully remote engineering team to ensure quality and reliability of a healthcare platform through comprehensive manual testing. This role welcomes both junior QA engineers seeking to build skills and middle-level engineers ready to own testing independently, collaborating closely with developers and product teams.
What you'll do
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and comprehensive test plans
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across the platform
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle
- Analyze requirements to identify quality risks and validate features meet business needs
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to investigate and resolve issues
- Maintain testing documentation and provide quality reports for release activities

- Manual testing of web applications
- Test case creation and defect reporting
- Jira or similar bug-tracking tools
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- API testing (Postman preferred for middle-level)
- SQL and database testing (nice to have)
- Test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
