About this role
Join a seed-stage AI startup as a founding engineer to build the intelligence layer for construction document processing. You'll work on computer vision, LLMs, and multimodal AI systems that turn blueprints and permits into actionable insights, shipping production systems on real-world data from day one.
What you'll do
- Apply computer vision, LLM, and multimodal AI techniques to construction documents (blueprints, schedules, specs)
- Rapidly prototype and iterate AI models based on production data and user feedback
- Build and deploy end-to-end AI systems handling noisy, heterogeneous inputs
- Own the intelligence layer including modeling, data pipelines, and inference infrastructure
- Collaborate with product and users to identify and prioritize high-impact problems
- Handle full spectrum of startup engineering tasks including data labeling, ETL, and deployment
