About this role

Join an early-stage team as a founding AI engineer to build evaluation systems, LLM infrastructure, and agent tooling for an AI-powered B2B pricing platform. You'll own the entire stack from model selection and routing to production observability, ensuring AI recommendations drive measurable revenue impact while meeting compliance and data residency requirements.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain evaluation harnesses that use tracked pricing outcomes as ground truth to measure model performance
  • Build and automate expert review workflows currently performed manually, including AI personas that simulate buying committees
  • Own LLM routing and provider selection across Anthropic, Google, and others with explicit cost, latency, and quality tradeoffs
  • Develop and extend MCP server infrastructure used by customer-facing agents to enable agent-driven features
  • Implement and maintain data residency boundaries, SOC 2, and GDPR compliance in pricing decision systems
  • Identify and remediate systemic issues including latency, data drift, and cold-start problems in the pricing feedback loop
