About this role

Join a seed-stage people data and AI startup to build core platform capabilities spanning backend, data infrastructure, and AI agent systems. You'll own end-to-end technical decisions and ship customer-facing products while working directly with founders in a high-ownership environment.

What you'll do

  • Build and deploy customer-facing products and platform capabilities across backend, data, infrastructure, and frontend
  • Design and operate high-volume data pipelines and services with emphasis on reliability, security, and observability
  • Develop AI agents and agent harnesses, then own them reliably at production scale
  • Make architectural decisions, document tradeoffs, and iterate designs as requirements evolve
  • Collaborate with founders and customers to translate ambiguous requests into concrete product and technical decisions
  • Leverage modern AI development tools while maintaining strong engineering accountability
