Automations Engineer, Post Sales Systems
About this role
Design and build AI-powered automations and integrations for ClickUp's support operations using Zendesk, Workato, and LLM technologies. You'll own the full lifecycle of automation projects—from discovery through optimization—while collaborating with support teams to reduce manual work and improve customer experience through intelligent systems.
What you'll do
- Design and develop automations in Zendesk for ticket routing, field population, summarization, and escalation logic
- Build AI-driven workflows using Zendesk AI, custom LLM integrations, and ClickUp Super Agents for sentiment analysis and response suggestions
- Architect low-code/no-code solutions via Workato and Zapier to integrate Zendesk with Salesforce, ClickUp, and other tools
- Ensure seamless data flow between support systems and maintain reporting dashboards tracking automation impact and team metrics
- Monitor automation health, gather feedback from support teams, and iterate to improve accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate across GTM Systems and Support organizations to identify pain points and translate business requirements into technical solutions
