About this role

Join Coinbase's Consumer & Business group as a Senior Frontend Engineer building the world's first RIA-licensed agentic trading system. You'll own the React Native and web interfaces for Coinbase Advisor—an AI-powered chat interface that provides personalized financial advice and executes trades—while collaborating across full-stack services, LLM integrations, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end frontend for Coinbase Advisor across React Native mobile and web, including the agentic chat interface and entry points
  • Build real-time, streaming interfaces for AI-driven advice and trade recommendations with sub-second responsiveness as a compliance requirement
  • Shape agent behavior through prompt engineering, evals, and conversation analysis to optimize the system prompt as a product surface
  • Extend Go backend services and LLM integrations (LLM Gateway, Google Gemini) when needed to deliver great frontend experiences
  • Drive frontend architecture for streaming state, real-time market data rendering, and stateful conversational UX
  • Partner with design, engineering, and the registered investment adviser to ship features within regulatory guardrails
