About this role
Contoro Robotics is hiring a Robotics Engineer Intern for fall to support hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of warehouse automation robotic systems. You'll work directly with experienced engineers in a fast-paced Austin startup, gaining practical experience in hardware prototyping and contributing to real robotic projects.
What you'll do
- Assist with mechanical and electrical assembly of robotic components and sub-systems
- Support integration of sensors, actuators, and control hardware
- Perform system-level testing and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues
- Collaborate with technicians to interpret assembly documentation and technical drawings
- Maintain lab organization, inventory tracking, and test documentation
- Participate in design feedback sessions and suggest process improvements
