What you'll do
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop MEMS-enabled sensors and actuators for multiple industries
- Integrate new fabrication processes into scalable production workflows while maintaining research integrity
- Lead design, fabrication, and testing of MEMS devices and subsystems to meet performance specifications
- Design and execute experiments to validate innovative MEMS technologies and solve complex engineering challenges
- Perform wafer inspections and metrology analysis to ensure quality and drive iterative process improvements
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to bridge research innovations with practical applications
What they're looking for
- Process development and optimization with design of experiments (DOE)
- Advanced microfabrication techniques (photolithography, etching, CVD, deposition, bonding)
- Deep reactive ion etching (DRIE) and sacrificial layer processing
- Precision metrology using SEM, optical microscopy, and interferometric measurements
- CAD mask layout design with L-Edit or Cadence
- Statistical data analysis and problem-solving
- Process control monitor (PCM) design and characterization
- Cross-functional team communication in multi-disciplinary environments
