About this role

DV Trading, a Chicago-based proprietary trading firm, seeks a Client Platforms Engineer to provide first-line technical support to end-users across the organization. You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage service requests, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure reliable IT operations.

What you'll do

  • Serve as first point of contact for end-user IT issues via phone, email, tickets, Slack, and in-person
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and application problems; escalate complex issues appropriately
  • Process service requests including password resets, software installations, and access provisioning
  • Maintain incident records and documentation; create knowledge base articles for self-service
  • Manage IT asset inventory, tracking, and software license allocation
  • Collaborate with IT teams on complex technical issues and continuous process improvements
