Silicon & Photonics IC Validation, Test & Characterization Engineer

About this role

Join Eliyan's validation team to characterize cutting-edge photonic and electrical components for AI chiplet interconnects. You'll conduct hands-on testing of optical modulators and photodiodes, operate advanced measurement instruments, and provide critical feedback to design teams.

What you'll do

• Bring up and test silicon photonics and high-speed interconnect devices
• Characterize optical modulators, photodiodes, and analog driver/receiver circuits
• Perform high-speed electrical and optical measurements using lab instrumentation
• Document test results and provide validation feedback to design engineers
• Develop test methodologies and automation scripts as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot device performance

• Test & measurement instrumentation (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, optical equipment)
• High-speed electrical characterization
• Photonics and optical component knowledge
• Analog circuit understanding
• Data analysis and scripting (Python or similar)
• Lab equipment proficiency
