About this role

Join Encord's platform engineering team as a DevOps Engineer to build and operate infrastructure supporting AI data workflows at scale. You'll own CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure on GCP/AWS, Kubernetes clusters, and observability systems while driving automation and reliability across the engineering organization.

What you'll do

  • Own and improve CI/CD deployment pipelines; partner with developers on infrastructure changes and release processes
  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS including Kubernetes clusters and petabyte-scale storage
  • Build automation and internal tooling to eliminate manual toil and improve developer productivity
  • Profile and optimize services handling large-scale data pipelines; perform capacity planning for compute and storage workloads
  • Define and own SLIs/SLOs/SLAs for critical services; build alerting, runbooks, and incident response processes
  • Instrument services with distributed tracing, logging, and metrics; establish observability best practices across squads
