Sustainment Test & Evaluation Engineer
About this role
ENSCO seeks an experienced Sustainment Test & Evaluation Engineer to support Space Systems Command at Peterson Space Force Base, conducting testing and validation of military satellite communications and nuclear command/control systems. The role involves independent test planning, execution, and technical assessments for legacy and transitioning MILSATCOM space systems and terminals.
What you'll do
- Design, plan, coordinate and execute testing on MILSATCOM systems including FAB-T, Global-ASNT, TDSPP, MMS, and GBS
- Conduct independent verification and validation of hardware and software changes to technical baselines
- Provide engineering support including integration, circuit troubleshooting, anomaly resolution, and defect isolation
- Author technical documentation including test plans, procedures, configuration diagrams, and test reports
- Assess system modifications for shortfalls and interoperability issues; deliver technical assessments to government clients
- Travel up to 20% to CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed by government customer
